Meet Coach Justin

Running has been part of my life for over 20 years. I completed my first marathon at 18, took a long break, then returned in my 40s where my passion for endurance running truly grew.

Naturally suited to longer distances, I’ve experienced the full runner’s journey — steady progress, setbacks, learning and long-term development. Racing has taken me across the world, from the heat of Africa to a frozen lake in Russia at −26°C, competing from 5Ks to 100-mile ultras.

I’ve been coaching runners for the past year and recently completed advanced coaching in Kenya under the mentorship of an Olympic-level coach, which now forms the foundation of my approach. I’m also a qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer, allowing me to support runners not only with training plans but also strength, mobility and injury-prevention work.

At 50, with a marathon PB of 2:48, I believe improvement doesn’t stop with age. With smart, structured training and proper recovery, progress is possible at any stage.

My coaching focuses on:
• Structured, personalised training
• Sustainable progression
• Proper recovery
• Ongoing support

My goal is to help runners train smarter, stay healthy, and confidently reach their potential.
